Dezireh Eyn is the Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer of Platinum Properties, leading the firm’s finance, HR, and marketing departments as well as all hiring and client development initiatives. Driven by strong family foundations and an innate passion for diversity & empowerment, she brings a sense of community to Platinum so often missing in the real estate industry.
One of four children, Dezireh was heavily influenced by the people who raised her. Her grandfather, a strong patriarchal figure not just in her immediate family but the larger Jewish community surrounding it, always encouraged women to follow their passion – a quality that remains at the heart of Dezireh’s approach in mentoring people of all backgrounds towards their ambitions and goals. Her grandmother also taught her the importance of maintaining femininity & class, and her parents instilled a deep work ethic reflective of their refugee past & the creation of success from nothing. Dezireh explored many interests during her undergraduate program in Economics at New York University, including fashion, but it wasn’t until her brother Khashy introduced her to real estate during her junior year that she knew she had found her calling.
Khashy co-founded Platinum with Dezireh in November 2005 with the desire to provide top real estate services to individuals while making authentic & lifelong relationships. Since then she has been involved in managing almost every aspect of the business, from hiring new agents, to developing marketing initiatives, to financial planning, to an expansive and well-rounded list of strategies that have driven Platinum to the stature it’s reached today. But even with all of those responsibilities and talents at her disposal, Dezireh still maintains a strong focus on work / life balance and wellness for her team. She has overseen company workouts, dinners, and even daily meditation practice, contributing immensely to the closeness of the firm’s staff & agents and their motivation to consistently strive for more, together.
With a proven track record of successful leadership, Dezireh has cemented her ideologies on both managing her team and the connection necessary to provide clients with the best experience possible. Her perceptive mentorship style now allows her to find potential in people and then grow it, bringing out their own talents and abilities to add value regardless of their backgrounds and skill sets. She genuinely enjoys the experience of connecting with people to further their goals, be it agent or client, and has a profound interest in human psychology, the art of motivation, and problem-solving. This connection has also led to her deep expertise in negotiation tactics, which she credits largely to growing up with three brothers.
Although Dezireh is often able to link her work and life together, she loves trying new cuisines, cooking, traveling, meeting new people, and practicing health & wellness in her spare time. She is heavily involved in charity work including The Jewish Board and WIZO, the Women’s International Zionist Organization, and often collaborates with her team on charity initiatives within these organizations.
