Synopsis: 4th annual 9/11 5K Run/Walk, beginning at Pier 26 in TriBeCa and ending at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum Bib N’ Brunch offers 5K particpants a special discount at many lower Manhattan restaurants. $40 to sign up in advance, regular adult registration is $45 through March 31, 2016

Location: Lower Manhattan
Synopsis: A summer evening visiting 15 diverse museums and historic sites in Lower Manhattan for free, and enjoy discounts at local restaurants.

Location: Washington Square Park
Synopsis: A tradition started by Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning. Artists vary from NYU students to local painters, sculptures, photographers, jewelers, and woodworkers.
