Over the past decade, the Financial District, in lower Manhattan, has transformed with a active growing population. Now, with the addition of new luxury hotels and restaurants, FiDi offers a contemporary upscale experience.

A number of spots in the area are now the perfect places to meet friends or family, allowing residents to enjoy a night out without venturing far from home.

The Dead Rabbit, located at 30 Water Street, is known for their very well-made cocktails. Esquire.com included The Dead Rabbit on their list of Best Bars in America: New York edition. Its popularity can be attributed to the fact that it provides bar-goers with a vast menu of cocktails, punches, and juleps.

Situated at 123 Washington Street, Living Room Bar and Terrace, is a sleek bar located on the fifth-floor in the W Hotel. With cocktails named for the neighborhood, bar-goers can enjoy drinks like the Brooklyn Bridge (made with rye, bitters, and blood-orange liqueur) or The Five Points (made with pisco, pineapple, and argula). The drinks are unique and the atmosphere is chic.

Located at 75 Wall Street, Bar Seven Five, is a great spot for after-work drinks. With a nice and varied cocktail menu, Bar Seven Five offers a good mix of seasonal, standard drinks, and more. The drinks are made with made-in-house syrups and a selection of high-end liquors.

A once drab area is now more vibrant. These spots, amongst others, are part of the Financial District’s ongoing transformation.
