The holiday season officially starts in NYC with the lighting of the tree at Rockefeller Center. Christmas in Manhattan is a whimsical, joyous time of year. 1.      Zuccotti Park Holiday Lighting

Dec 1 @ 5:15pm

Celebrate the holidays in the heart of downtown Manhattan. Enjoy live music and sweet treats as the park illuminates with thousands of glowing lights!

2.     32nd Annual Seaport Tree Lighting Ceremony

Dec 1 @ 6pm

Santa will be on premises for the lighting ceremony of a glorious 60 foot tree at the South Street Seaport. The area is adorned in holiday décor this time of year. Start your shopping at the Holiday Market, open daily on Fulton Street.

3.     Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Dec 2 @ 7pm

New York City’s most celebrated Christmas tree lighting is free to the public and is known to draw massive crowds with fantastic live musical performances. Visiting hours to see the tree are daily from 5:30am – midnight. The tree remains lit until January 6, 2016. After the tree is taken down, it is donated to Habitat for Humanity.
